Terms of Service

Last updated July 8, 2026

The service

Chikamichi is a desktop Markdown editor that connects to your GitHub account. By using it you agree to these terms and to GitHub's own terms of service for actions the app performs on your behalf.

Licenses

A Pro license is a one-time purchase for personal use on your own machines. License keys may not be shared, resold, or published. We may revoke keys that are abused.

Refunds

If Chikamichi doesn't work for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

Your content

Your documents and repositories are yours. The app writes commits only when you press Save, using your own GitHub credentials. You are responsible for what you commit and push.

Warranty

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, lost commits, or any indirect damages arising from use of the app. Keep backups of important work.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date.
